To provide funds to nontraditional students who are pursuing a degree at the university. Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 25 years of age; must provide support for at least one dependent; must have a minimum of 12 semester hours of college credit; must have a 3.0 GPA; must be a full-time student at the university for the semester in which the scholarship is awarded; current Alumni Association scholarship recipients may reapply. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; Include with the completed application: resume or list of school, community and civic activities; one page essay explaining interest in the award and why should receive the scholarship; two letters of recommendation--one must be from a professor or teacher, the other may be from an employer, community leader, friend or relative.
