To provide aid for worthy Vermont students studying in the nursing field (RN or LPN level) or pursuing advanced studies in the medical or nursing fields. Qualifications: Applicant must be a seek a degree or certification in nursing or medical studies; enroll at least half time; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate academic achievement; students must be attending (or planning to attend) a college, university or training program within the United States or Canada who are: United States citizens. Selection criteria: Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, essay, and recommendation letter. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; scholarships listed on pages 6-46 require the Unified Scholarship Application (USA); each scholarship usually requires at least one additional required document; Submit required documents online through MyVSAC account; FAFSA, one recommendation letter essay 1 (general essay), and official transcript.
