To assist students that are or have been under the custody of the Vermont DCF pursue post-secondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be currently under the custody of the Vermont Commissioner of the department for children and families (DCF) or be between the ages of 18 and 24 and have been under the custody of the Vermont Commissioner of the DCF for at least six months when applicant was between the ages of 16 and 18; seek an undergraduate degree; must demonstrate financial need; must attend an accredited school located within Vermont and approved for federal Title IV funding (pell grants, federal direct loans); students attending (or planning to attend) a college, university or training program within the United States or Canada who are: United States citizens (or eligible non-citizens). Selection criteria: Selection will be based on eligibility.
