To help Vermont students pursue post-secondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be a current high school senior who resides in cavendish, Ludlow, mount holly, or Plymouth (preference given to students who had a parent or grandparent that served in any branch of the armed forces); must demonstrate financial need; must attend an accredited school approved for federal title iv funding (pell grants, federal direct loans); students attending (or planning to attend) a college, university or training program within the United States or Canada who are: United States citizens (or eligible non-citizens); be Vermont residents. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on financial need, recommendation letter, and essay. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include one recommendation letter (non-relative), essay (general essay), and membership (if applicable, provide the name of the parent or grandparent who served in the armed forces, as well as the branch of the armed forces in which he/she served.).
