To assist students in their educational pursuits in the study of dairying. Qualifications: Applicants must seek an undergraduate degree in dairy business/production, dairy sciences, or a related field; enroll full time; demonstrate academic achievement; demonstrate education/work ethic; must attend an accredited school approved for federal title iv funding (pell grants, federal direct loans); students attending (or planning to attend) a college, university or training program within the United States or Canada who are: United States citizens (or eligible non-citizens); be Vermont residents. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on recommendation letter, essay, and academic achievement. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include one recommendation letter (non-relative), essay (general essay-describe the impact that prior experiences with agriculture made on decision to pursue a career in, or associated with, dairy), and official transcript. Focus: Dairy science.
