To support Vermont students pursuing undergraduate degrees. Qualifications: Applicants must be seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance; must be among the first generation in their family to attend college (neither parent has received a bachelor's degree); must face significant barriers that limit access to postsecondary education; must demonstrate financial need; must demonstrate involvement in school or community service; must demonstrate a strong education and work ethic; must attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding (Pell Grants, Federal Direct Loans); must be attending or planning to attend a college, university, or training program within the United States or Canada; must be United States citizens. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on financial need, essay, and recommendation letter.
