To provide financial support to a graduate-level university student conducting research on wild fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be student members of WFA; student applicants must have completed a bachelor of science (or arts) degree by July1 of this year and be enrolled in a graduate program in Wildlife biology, wildlife management, or a related natural resource field. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit a current CV; copy of acceptance letter into a graduate program in Wildlife Biology, Wildlife Management, or related natural resource field; two letters of reference (including email addresses); and a 500-750 word essay on their interests in wild felid research, career goals, how the award will further their professional development, and demonstration of financial need. Focus: Wildlife conservation, management, and science.
