To help students in the Yukon pursue college degrees in fields related to social work, addiction counseling, and alcoholism. Qualifications: Applicants must be Yukon students studying social work, clinical research or counselling with a stated career goal of working or studying in a field related to addiction or the effects of addictions; one-year Yukon residency required; preference will be given to students who abstain from alcohol and drug use, who are considered to be mature students, and who lack the financial resources to enter or complete their course of studies.
