-- The mission of Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is to promote and preserve quality affordable housing and related services for low and moderate-income families, helping residents improve their lives. Our purpose is to provide housing at schools and scholarships for qualified students from lower income families to enable such individuals to find their way out of subsidized housing through educational opportunities. In doing so, we will transform communities in which we live and work. -- To honor the legacy of AHF’s founder, this scholarship supports students pursuing studies in real estate. Eligible applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a real estate major or related field. Qualifications: -- Adjusted gross income must be less than 100% of the HUD established median family income level for the city/county of residence. -- Student must attend or intend to attend an accredited university, technical school, or certification program, including GED, Vo-tech, and/or licensing programs. -- Student must maintain a 2.5 semester GPA or passing score based on program criteria. -- Student must also maintain 20 hours of community service per semester. -- Student must be pursuing a career in real estate or a related field.
