To support the efforts of those invested in environmental improvement, OFAC Law Group established the Eco-Friendly Scholarship. Qualifications: To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be an undergraduate, graduate, law school student, or an incoming college student at an accredited institution in the United States, living in one of the 50 States or District of Columbia. Students must be enrolled in their respective institution for the Spring 2026 semester. Employees of OFAC Law Group, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to apply for the scholarship. The candidate must be in good academic standing with at least a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA. Selection criteria: A 1,000 word essay responding to the prompt: Provide a well-thought-out example(s) of how to improve the environment through activism, or an example(s) you have already enacted. Please note that all essays will be checked for AI writing. If AI writing is deemed present in the essay, the application will be denied. Essays will be judged on the quality of reasoning. A professional resumé detailing both professional and academic experience. A transcript from your current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, along with the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students can submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
