The HostingAdvice.com Future Web Developers Scholarship, awarded annually, is available to undergraduate and graduate students aspiring to attain employment in the IT sector. Eligible majors include tracks of study in a number of computer science-related fields, including, but not limited to, web development, software engineering, digital security, systems management, artificial intelligence, networking, and data analytics, among others. Qualifications: Minimum GPA of 3.5 Majoring in a computer science-related field Selection criteria: Essays will be judged by HostingAdvice CTO, Ryan Frankel. How to apply: Complete an essay for submission. Submit a cover letteroutlining civic involvement and/or extracurricular activities. Essay Topic:How XYZ Technology is Changing the Ways Modern Businesses Operate. Thisessay will explore how a specific technology or set of technologies (e.g.,PaaS solutions, cloud or hybrid infrastructure, blockchain-basedapplications, etc.) has altered how modern business is conducted and how itis forcing organizations to evolve their approaches to IT to compete.The essay should be 500-1,000 words. Any resources should be carefullynoted and cited appropriately using the MLA format. Any plagiarism orfabrication will disqualify the applicant from award disbursement. Thesubmission will be reviewed to determine it was written by a human and notAI. The essay should be written in 12-point font, Times New Roman,double-spaced, 1-inch margins.
