Life is rarely fair, and some people can be faced with more challenges than others. Adjusting to one’s circumstances and finding a way to overcome these challenges can be difficult, but not impossible. Adams & Bischoff would like to extend a $1,000 scholarship to a student with the best 750-word essay discussing obstacles that they have had to overcome in their life, and how they persevered despite those challenges. Qualifications: Preference for students in/residents of South Carolina •The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student, or graduate student in the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. •Students must be enrolled in a vocational program or two to a five-year post-secondary institution for the upcoming academic year. •Immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households (whether related or not) of Adams & Bischoff staff and attorneys, are not eligible to participate in the competition. •A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
