To support for students pursuing a Masters or Doctorate in engineering with the intent of pursuing a career in teaching engineering at the university level. Students must demonstrate strong academic achievement and leadership ability. Qualifications: Applicant must be US ResidentApplicant must be enrolled in a masters or doctoral program pursuing a degree in engineering at a U.S. University AND planning to pursue a career teaching engineering at the university levelGPA requirement: 3.5 or aboveRequired documents include: college transcript; GRE score (if taken); two letters of recommendation; a personal statement (essay) outlining the applicants goals and why the applicant is pursuing a degree in engineering and a career in teaching Selection criteria: Demonstrated leadership skills documented by participation in SAEs Collegiate Design Series, an SAE student chapter or other community or extracurricular activities. Recipients will be selected by the SAE Scholarship Committee and notified by the end of June.
