We award this scholarship to a deserving student who is either a highschool senior or enrolled in/accepted to an accredited community college orundergraduate degree program with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.We are pretty much convinced that your school would be more than interestedin offering free open access to this kind of opportunity for itshigh-achieving undergraduate students and integrate it among its ExternalScholarships List Qualifications: In order to be eligible, students must:- confer proof of being the legal child (natural or adoptive) of a veteranof any branch of U.S. military service (U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. AirForce, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard);- submit a transcript demonstrating a GPA of 3.0 and/or higher or a copy ofthe college/university acceptance letter proving intent to enroll; Selection criteria: -write a 500-word essay answering one of the following prompts:- How did growing up in a military family inspire your education andcareer aspirations?- What advice would you give to a younger child growing up in a militaryfamily?- What do you believe is the single most important thing our society cando to help veterans and their families?
