Do you lead by example? Are you passionate about service and a positive force for good? High school seniors with excellent character who plan to pursue a degree in healthcare are invited to apply for the Kendra Smith Scholarship, sponsored by The First Nation Group Foundation Inc. The Kendra Smith Scholarship is available to high school seniors, offering one award of $10,000. This scholarship is renewable for up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, based on satisfactory academic performance and full-time enrollment. In addition to financial support, recipients will have access to mentorship opportunities and extracurricular activities. Selection criteria: Applicants must meet each of the following criteria: •Be a high school senior •Be a permanent resident of one of the following states: oColorado oFlorida oGeorgia oMichigan oTennessee •Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year •Plan to pursue a degree in healthcare; this includes but is not limited to: oMedical oHealthcare (Clinical or administrative) oPublic Health •Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) •Demonstrate financial need Focus: oMedical oHealthcare (Clinical or administrative) oPublic Health
