The Law Offices of Jeffrey Lichtman Community Service Scholarship is intended to honor a student who went above and beyond to make a significant impact in their community by noticing a problem and taking the initiative to solve or mend that problem. Qualifications: To be considered eligible for the Law Offices of Jeffrey Lichtman Community Service Scholarship, students must be currently enrolled at a duly accredited institution, including junior college, community college, undergraduate programs, or graduate programs anywhere in the United States. High school graduates or GED holders who are about to begin college are also welcome to apply. All applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Selection criteria: ): A current academic transcript: official or unofficial, An updated resume, & A 750-word personal essay describing a community service activity you initiated. Please explain what led you to this particular activity, what societal issue or problem it addressed, and how successful it was. If not successful, please propose another way to fix your community’s issue.
