Ramage Law Group Adopted Child Scholarship
The Ramage Law Group
Award: $1000 – $1000
Deadline: December 15
As the mother to two adopted daughters, Attorney Sharon Ramage understands the challenges that parents and children face in these situations, as well as the joys that come with building family bonds that will stand the test of time. We have established a scholarship program that provides assistance to children who have been adopted. Each semester, we award a scholarship of $1,000 to a student who is pursuing a college education. Qualifications: Students may apply for our scholarship if they are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or have been accepted for admission in the upcoming semester. In addition, the student must be at least 17 years old, must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher as of their last completed academic semester, must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, and must have been legally adopted by one or both of their parents Selection criteria: We will evaluate applicants' essays using the following standards: Did the applicant fully answer the questions asked? Does the essay provide a good picture of the student's experiences as an adopted child and their goals as they pursue a college education? Is the essay creative, well-written, and well-organized? How to apply: Applicants may submit an application for our scholarship by filling out the contact form on this page. In addition to providing contact information detailing their name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, and the school they will be attending, proof of admission must also be submitted. This may include a letter of acceptance or an academic transcript for the most recently completed semester. Applicants will also be required to submit an essay that is up to 800 words long answering the provided prompt.
