To award scholarships to students majoring in degree programs most commonly hired by members of this trade association and to raise awareness about the performance plastics industry. Qualifications: To apply for a IAPD scholarship, college/university students at the undergraduate or graduate degree level must meet one of the following criteria:   Be employed by an IAPD member company Be a child of an employee of an IAPD member company Be enrolled in a professional sales program (major, minor or concentration). Candidates must have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA based on a 4.0 scale. Students are ranked based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and presentation. Selection criteria: Recipients are ranked based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and presentation. DURATION: (Length of time an award is active - usually one, two, or four years): One year, for upcoming school term NUMBER OF AWARDS: average of 18 each year HOW TO APPLY: Fill out application online at https://iapd.submittable.com/submit/197633/2022-iapd-scholarship How to apply: In addition to completing the online scholarship application form, submitted scholarship applications must include the following supporting materials to be considered:    A 500-word, one page essay A current unofficial transcript. If are a college freshman, please send both high school and college transcripts. The signature addendum page of this application, signed by both student and a parent or guardian. Focus: professional sales program (major, minor or concentration), business, communications, marketing, engineering, supply chain management, information technology, accounting, human resources program or related programs.
