As family lawyers, we understand that families come in all shapes and sizes. That is why we are proud to announce our $1,000 The Law Firm of Charles D. Jamieson, P.A. 2021 Family Scholarship! This scholarship opportunity will be awarded to one student who best describes what the word “family” means to them and how living in their household situation has affected and shaped them to be who they are today. “Family” is often defined as parents and children living together under one roof, individuals with a common ancestry, or those grouped together by common characteristics or values. It can also be described as a place where you feel safe, loved for, or a place where you feel a sense of belonging. As being family lawyers, we at The Law Firm of Charles D. Jamieson P.A. understand that families come in all shapes and sizes, and that oftentimes, goes beyond simply being related to one another. That is why we are proud to announce The Law Firm of Charles D. Jamieson, P. A. 2022 Family Scholarship to award one student with $1,000 to help fund their education! Selection criteria: Applicants for The Law Firm of Charles D. Jamieson, P. A. 2021 Family Scholarship must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in college before the application deadline of October 31, 2022 are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must be in good academic standing and have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. How to apply: To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, a full application must include: 1.An updated resumé listing academic, professional, and volunteer experiences 2.A current or your most recent official or unofficial academic transcript. If you are a high school senior, you must also submit proof of acceptance to your college or university. 3.A 750-1,000 word essay explaining what the word “family” means to you. Be sure to explain your household situation and how it has shaped you as an individual. All scholarship criteria must be submitted either on or before the deadline of October 31, 2022. Applications submitted after the October 31st deadline will not be considered eligible.
